The campaign

This is bigger than one EP.

The first release is Songs for the Hardest Hour, EP 1: Help Right Now — five Scripture-memory songs for people facing recovery’s hardest moments.

But the campaign is bigger than one release. We are looking for people who will listen, share, start a share page, introduce us to ministry leaders, and help Vanguard Verse carry Scripture into real moments of life.

A gift helps create the music. A share helps us find the right people. An introduction may open a door we could never open on our own.

First release

Songs for the Hardest Hour.

The first release is a five-song EP called Help Right Now. It is for immediate crisis, craving, panic, temptation, weakness, and the first cry for help.

These are Scripture-memory songs for recovery’s hardest moments — the craving hour, the shame hour, the sleepless hour, and the hour when someone feels alone, trapped, afraid, or ready to give up.

Why recovery?

Recovery has hard hours.

The craving hour. The shame hour. The sleepless hour. The hour when a person feels alone, trapped, afraid, or ready to give up.

In those moments, the meeting may be over. The counselor may be gone. The phone may be the only companion.

And music is already there.

Vanguard Verse is creating Scripture-memory songs designed to help the Word of God be heard, remembered, and retrieved when the hardest hour comes.

When the hard hour comes, the Word is already there.

Imagine someone awake at 2:00 a.m., phone in hand, fighting the old pull.

Instead of the same old playlist, the same old trigger, the same old spiral, Scripture begins to surface. A verse about escape. A verse about mercy. A verse about freedom. A verse about peace. A verse about a new name.

How your help works

This is Scripture publishing through music.

Your gift helps Vanguard Verse create, refine, produce, and release Scripture-memory songs. That includes Scripture selection, lyric shaping, production, review, cover art, streaming release, playlist organization, and ministry partner materials.

Each song becomes a permanent resource that can be listened to freely, shared easily, and carried into real moments of need.

We are not trying to make background inspiration. We are trying to help Scripture get in and stay there.

A note from CJ

I’m looking for the people who care about Discipleship.

I adapted the same Scripture memory system from the Navigators that we proved over more than 5 years in growth groups, and now Vanguard Verse is setting Scripture to original music.

The musical result is good enough that I keep playing it in the car. Some of these songs get stuck in my head in the best way.

I’m not just trying to raise money. I’m trying to find the people who care about this — people who will listen, share it, introduce me to the right people, and help carry Scripture farther than I can on my own.
